Schools and University
Ave Maria schools and Ave Maria University
Education is built into the community, from the new Ave Maria Elementary School to the university that gives the town its name.
Ave Maria Elementary School
Ave Maria Elementary School opened in 2026
Ave Maria Elementary School opened in 2026. Older websites and listing remarks that assign all Ave Maria elementary students to schools outside the community may now be outdated.
Public school attendance zones are set by Collier County Public Schools and can change as the district adjusts boundaries and as Ave Maria grows. Always verify the current elementary, middle and high school assignment for a specific address directly with Collier County Public Schools before you make a decision based on schools.

Ave Maria University
A university integrated into the town
Ave Maria University is woven into the community's identity, events and educational environment. Its campus sits beside Town Center, and its calendar adds lectures, performances, athletics and cultural life that most master planned communities never have.
The university's 2026 to 2027 academic catalog lists 36 undergraduate majors, 38 minors and 7 graduate programs. Those numbers change as programs are added or revised, so treat them as a snapshot for the 2026 to 2027 year.
